Connectors

Choosing the wrong connector for a motorsport wiring harness is not a minor error — a connector that can’t handle vibration, fuel vapour, or high pin density will fail at the worst possible moment. This range covers every connector type used in professional race car wiring: from high-density circular autosport connectors used in ECU and data acquisition harnesses, to general-purpose sealed connectors for sensors and actuators, to OEM-spec connector kits for aftermarket ECUs.

Autosport Connectors — High Pin Count, MIL-Spec

Deutsch Autosport AS Series and Souriau 8STA circular connectors are the standard in professional motorsport. Both derive from MIL-DTL-38999 and are directly intermateable across the same shell size and keyway. They handle 8 to 128 circuits in a single connector, with aluminium shells, conductive zinc finish, and gold-plated contacts. Used for main ECU harness connectors, dash looms, data acquisition, and PDM connections on GT3, WRC, and endurance cars.

The Souriau 8STA is the variant XTRA stocks in depth. Shell sizes 06 through 24, all keyways, both body styles. Deutsch ASL MicroLITE and ASU Micro UltraLite are the compact variants for tight packaging — shell size 06 and 03 respectively, IP67, used where a full-size autosport connector won’t fit. Deutsch ASDD covers the mixed-layout arrangements for high-density signal and power in one shell.

General Purpose Sealed Connectors — Sensors, Actuators, Harness Branches

Deutsch DT, DTM, and DTP are the workhorses of motorsport and performance automotive wiring. Rectangular, IP67, rated to 125°C. DT handles signal and low-current loads (Size 16, 13 A); DTM is the compact version for tight sensor runs; DTP steps up to Size 12 contacts at 25 A for fuel pumps, cooling fans, and power feeds. All three use push-in wedgelocks and are field-serviceable without specialist tools, which is why they appear on virtually every motorsport harness regardless of category.

ECU Connector Kits

OEM and aftermarket connector kits for the ECUs most commonly wired in motorsport: Emtron, MoTeC, Link ECU, and Haltech. Pre-assembled kits with the correct housings, secondary locks, and seals — no sourcing individual components from multiple suppliers.

Sensor Connectors

Sensor connectors for common motorsport sensor types: bosch-style lambda, MAP, TPS, oil pressure, and temperature sensors. OEM-spec housings and terminals for a factory-quality fit without cutting factory looms.

Contacts, Sockets, and Pins

Deutsch Autosport and Souriau 8STA contacts in Size 22D, 20, and 16 — sockets and pins sold separately for building custom arrangements or replacing damaged contacts in existing connectors. Matched to the correct shell size.

Professional Connector Tooling

Crimp tools, positioners, and insertion/extraction tools for Deutsch and Souriau contacts. Correct tooling is not optional on MIL-spec contacts — hand crimping produces inconsistent pull-out force and fails aerospace qualification. Turbocon, Daniels, and equivalent positioners for each contact size.
