Bosch Motorsport Displays
Bosch Motorsport DDU displays combine a programmable full-colour dashboard with an integrated data logger in a single unit. Designed for professional motorsport — GT3, DTM, LMP, rally — they replace separate display and logger hardware with one device. All DDU models include WinDarab V7 free data analysis software, support CAN and Ethernet connectivity, and offer upgradable logging via the FULL_LOG_1 software option.

DDU11 IO_EXTENS expansion module adds: 4× analog/digital/wheelspeed inputs + 1× analog/digital/laptrigger input (switchable 3.01 kΩ pull-ups for all analog inputs), and enables a 2nd CAN interface or RS232 (selectable via RaceCon).
Bosch Motorsport Ethernet — Zero-Configuration Device Network
All Bosch Motorsport devices — ECU, DDU display, PBX power distribution — connect over a common Ethernet network with hardware time synchronisation. This is a key operational advantage in a multi-device installation:
- No inter-device CAN configuration. In a RaceCon project containing a Bosch ECU and a DDU display, any ECU channel can be added directly to the display or logger — no CAN ID mapping, no scaling, no message definition required.
- Synchronous data across the system. Ethernet carries a large volume of data with nanosecond-level time alignment between devices. What the ECU measures, the DDU can log or display in the same time frame.
- Multiple devices, one project. ECU, display, and power box share a single RaceCon project and behave effectively as one system.
- CAN for third-party devices. Standard CAN interfaces remain available for sensors, keypads, or third-party ECUs that do not support Ethernet.
Standard Features — All DDU Displays
- WinDarab V7 free — data analysis software, free download from Bosch Motorsport
- Standard logging — 100 channels, 4 GB, 50 ms sampling rate — always included, no activation required

FAQ
What is the difference between DDU9, DDU10, and DDU11?
DDU9 has a 5.7″ 640×480 display, 2× CAN, 2× Ethernet, and analog and speed inputs included as standard. DDU10 has an 800×480 display, 4× CAN, 3× Ethernet, standard analog and speed inputs, dual 8STA autosport connectors, and a dedicated Laptrigger input. DDU11 has the same 800×480 display resolution but uses a 26-pin plastic connector; CAN, RS232, and all analog/digital inputs require the IO_EXTENS expansion module.
Is data logging included in the display?
Yes. All DDU displays integrate a data logger as standard — 4 GB memory, 100 channels, 50 ms sampling. No additional hardware is required. The FULL_LOG_1 software upgrade unlocks the full logger: up to 1,500 channels and 1 ms (1000 Hz) sampling rate.
What software is needed to configure and analyse data?
Configuration is done in RaceCon — free software from Bosch Motorsport, connected via Ethernet — or via the MSA-BOX II USB interface (DDU9 and DDU10). Data analysis uses WinDarab — the V7 free version is available at no charge from Bosch Motorsport.
What connector does the DDU use?
DDU9 uses a single 8STA6-16-35SN Souriau autosport plug. DDU10 uses two: 8STA6-16-35SN (primary) and 8STA6-12-35SN (secondary). DDU11 uses a 26-pin plastic connector.
