Collision Avoidance Systems
Bosch Motorsport Collision Avoidance Systems
In endurance racing, awareness of what is behind you can be the difference between a podium and a barrier. Bosch Motorsport collision avoidance systems give drivers real-time rear-facing intelligence — distance, relative speed, and overtake warnings — so they can focus entirely on driving fast and making way at the right moment.
XTRA Motorsport is an authorised Bosch Motorsport supplier. We offer both systems with fast worldwide delivery.

CAS-M Light — Radar Warning via CAN
The entry-level solution for teams that already run a Bosch-compatible display (DDU 9, DDU 10, DDU 11 or similar). The CAS-M Light uses a 76–77 GHz FMCW radar sensor to detect the closest vehicle behind and outputs distance and relative speed data directly onto the CAN bus.
The display shows two LEDs (left/right) that change colour with distance — green at large distance, yellow at medium, red at close range — with left/right directional indication at critical distances. All thresholds are fully configurable per driver and per championship regulations.
Best for: teams with an existing Bosch display who need a compliant, cost-effective rear warning system.
CAS-M 3 EVO — Radar + HD Camera with Dedicated Display
The full-featured system for professional endurance and multi-class racing. The CAS-M 3 EVO combines a mid-range radar sensor (tracking up to 40 objects) with a high-definition low-latency camera, all processed by a dedicated Bosch Motorsport Display Unit. Up to four target vehicles are highlighted on the live camera feed with distance and closing speed classification. Bright flashing LEDs trigger when a car is actively overtaking.
Works in rain, spray, and at night — conditions where mirrors and cameras alone fail. Fully configurable via RaceCon. Used in WEC, ELMS, and GT3 championships worldwide.
Best for: GT3, LMGT3, and GTE teams in mixed-class endurance events where prototype traffic moves significantly faster than GT cars.
