ASX602-05SB-HE is a 5-way Deutsch Autosport AS Micro XtraLite (ASX) series plug with size 24 socket contacts and B keyway — Blue band. Shell size 2, rated at 3 A per circuit, accepts 24–30 AWG wire with PTFE (Tefzel) insulation. IP67 sealed, conductive black zinc finish. Smaller and lighter than the Deutsch ASU Micro UltraLite series.
This is a plug (free-hanging, body style 6) carrying socket (female) contacts. The mating receptacle carries pin contacts. This configuration is used when the harness design places socket contacts on the plug side rather than the receptacle side — for example where the plug-side wiring connects to a live circuit and socket contacts reduce the risk of accidental short-circuit when disconnected.
