WM8P is the wedgelock for the Deutsch DTM04-08PA 8-way receptacle. It locks Size 20 pin contacts in their cavities and completes the rear environmental seal — a required component for every DTM04-08PA assembly.
Insert the WM8P after contacts are crimped and seated in the housing. Push it into the rear of the DTM04-08PA until it clicks into the locked position. The wedgelock prevents contacts from backing out under vibration and ensures the silicone wire seals are fully compressed.
