WM8S is the wedgelock for the Deutsch DTM06-08SA 8-way plug. It locks Size 20 socket contacts in their cavities and completes the rear environmental seal — a required component for every DTM06-08SA assembly.
Insert the WM8S after contacts are crimped and seated in the housing. Push it into the rear of the DTM06-08SA until it clicks into the locked position. The wedgelock prevents contacts from backing out under vibration and ensures the silicone wire seals are fully compressed.
