Any unused cavity in an AMP Superseal 1.0 connector — a pin position left without a contact — creates an open pathway for moisture and contamination. The Superseal sealing plug fills that cavity from the rear of the housing, completing the IP67 seal.
This applies to any device using Superseal 1.0: Emtron KV/SL ECUs, Link ECU wire-in range, MoTeC PDM15/PDM30/M800, Haltech Elite series, and others. Every unused pin position requires one sealing plug.

Compatibility
Fits all AMP Superseal 1.0 connector housings, including 26-way and 34-way Superseal housings used on Emtron, Link ECU, MoTeC, Haltech, MaxxECU, and other ECUs.
Not compatible with AMP Superseal 2.8 (larger contact family) or FCI Sicma / Apex connectors used by ECUmaster EMU Black.
