SFS Performance silicone 45° elbow in blue. 3-ply polyester-reinforced construction with a 4.5 mm wall. The 45° bend changes pipe direction without a sharp corner — suitable for routing around engine components where a straight hose cannot follow the path.

- Turbocharger compressor outlet routing
- Coolant hose bends (radiator, heater circuit)
- Air intake routing around engine accessories
- Charge cooler water circuit pipes
Not Suitable For
Do not use in fuel delivery, fuel return, or oil lines. Silicone is not resistant to hydrocarbons. For fuel or oil lines, use PTFE-lined hose.
When to Use a 45° Elbow
Use a 45° elbow when two pipes are offset at a moderate angle and a straight hose cannot flex freely between them. For a sharper right-angle turn, use a 90° elbow instead.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the leg length of this elbow?
SFS Performance 45° elbows have legs of approximately 80–100 mm from the bend centreline to the cut end, depending on diameter. Measure the available straight run on both sides of the bend before ordering if the installation is tight.
Can I join two elbows to create a steeper angle?
Yes. Trim both hoses to short stubs and connect them with a straight sleeve hose. Clamp all four joints.
Is the diameter stated the inside or outside measurement?
Internal diameter (ID). The ID must match the outside diameter of the spigot or pipe you are fitting onto.
Is there a black version?
Yes — see SFS Performance Silicone 45° Elbow Black. Identical construction and temperature rating.
