Not Suitable For
Do not use in fuel delivery, fuel return, or oil lines. Silicone is not resistant to hydrocarbons. For fuel or oil lines, use PTFE-lined hose.
How to Select the Correct Diameter
Measure the outside diameter of the pipe spigot or barb you are connecting to. Choose a hose whose internal diameter matches that measurement. Silicone stretches slightly — a hose 2–3 mm smaller in ID will also seal correctly on a barb when clamped.

What clamps should I use with this hose?
Worm-drive (jubilee) or T-bolt hose clamps. T-bolt clamps are preferred for charge air systems because they apply even clamping force. Position the clamp 10–15 mm from the end of the hose.
Can this hose be cut to a shorter length?
Yes. Use a sharp knife or scissors. Cut straight across the hose. Lightly chamfer the inside edge to help the hose seat on a barb.
Is 25 mm ID suitable for a BOV return hose?
Yes, for most standard blow-off valves. Measure the inlet port diameter on your BOV to confirm.
How does silicone compare to rubber coolant hose?
Silicone resists heat cycling better than EPDM rubber. Rubber hoses harden and crack after years of use. Silicone remains flexible and does not require periodic replacement.
