AiM EVO5 Datalogger with GPS

The AiM EVO5 is a standalone motorsport datalogger designed for teams that require a full sensor acquisition system without a built-in display. Its compact anodised aluminium body — 114 × 47 × 59 mm, 300 g — mounts in any location: behind a front splitter, under a seat, inside a fairing, or anywhere packaging dictates. When paired with an AiM MX series dash logger on the same CAN network, the EVO5 extends the system’s analogue input count and adds dedicated wheel speed channels without requiring a second display.

Eight fully configurable analogue inputs accept 0–5 V, 0–12 V, and K-type thermocouple signals at up to 1,000 Hz per channel, covering the full range of motorsport sensors: pressure transducers, potentiometers, linear position sensors, temperature probes, and lambda signals. Four dedicated wheel speed inputs provide independent frequency-based speed data from each corner — essential for traction control calibration and differential analysis in Race Studio 3. Two digital outputs and a second CAN bus allow the EVO5 to drive external devices and communicate with additional modules on the AiM CAN expansion network.

Data is stored to an SD card — up to 128 GB — giving endurance teams logging capacity for full race weekends without offloading sessions. Wi-Fi connection allows Race Studio 3 to download sessions and push configuration changes over the air.
