The Ecumaster ADU-7 Autosport is the correct choice when your harness is built to Deutsch Autosport (MIL-DTL-38999 class) connector standards — as required in many FIA endurance, Le Mans, and WEC-class regulations, and as preferred by professional GT3 and LMP teams where repeated connector mate/demate reliability is a design requirement.
The 37-pin round Autosport connector replaces the 35-pin AMP AMPSEAL of the standard ADU-7 Rev2, providing superior vibration resistance and proven robustness through repeated disconnection cycles. Functionally, the ADU-7 Autosport is identical to the ADU-7 Rev2: same 7-inch TFT display, same inputs, outputs, logging speed, LEDs, and CAN compatibility library.
Note: the ADU-7 Autosport is the current Rev.1 unit with IP60 sealing. The standard ADU-7 Rev2 is IP65. If Autosport connectors are not a requirement, the ADU-7 Rev2 is the recommended choice.

What You Can Do With It
- Integrate into a full-Autosport harness without adapters — the 37-pin round connector mates directly into the harness connector without gender adapters or pigtail adaptors
- Display all critical channels across a 7-inch page — large active area (154×86mm) fits coolant temp, oil temp/pressure, fuel level, lap delta, gear, speed, and 15 shift LEDs simultaneously
- Log all channels to USB at 500Hz — same USB flash drive logging as the ADU-5 and ADU-7 Rev2; download in ADU Analyzer for post-session review
- Connect to any CAN-capable ECU — 20+ pre-built ECU profiles; custom profiles available from ECUmaster
ADU Family Comparison
| Model | Screen | Brightness | IP | Connector | Weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| ADU-5 | 5-inch | 600 cd/m² | IP65 | 35-pin AMPSEAL | 408g |
| ADU-7 Rev.2 | 7-inch | 1000 cd/m² | IP65 | 35-pin AMPSEAL | 732g |
| ADU-7 Autosport | 7-inch | 1000 cd/m² | IP60 | 37-pin Autosport | — |
Choose the ADU-7 Autosport only when the Autosport round connector is a requirement. For all other 7-inch installations, the ADU-7 Rev2 offers IP65 sealing and is the current recommended variant.

FAQ
What is the difference between the ADU-7 Autosport and ADU-7 Rev2?
The ADU-7 Autosport uses a 37-pin round Autosport connector; the ADU-7 Rev2 uses a 35-pin AMP AMPSEAL. The Rev2 is IP65; the Autosport is IP60. If your harness does not use Autosport connectors, the ADU-7 Rev2 is the better choice — it is newer, better sealed, and requires the same wiring loom as the ADU-5.
What ECUs is the ADU-7 Autosport compatible with?
Identical ECU compatibility to all ADU models: pre-built CAN profiles for ECUmaster EMU Black, EMU Pro, Emtron, MoTeC M400/M600, Haltech, AEM, Link ECU, and 20+ others. RS232 support for AiM, Hondata K-Pro, Autronic SM4, and others. Custom profiles available on request.
Does the ADU-7 Autosport have a video input?
No. Tyre and brake temperature data from ECUmaster CAN Thermal Cameras arrives over CAN bus and is rendered graphically on the display — not as a raw video stream.
Can I swap between the ADU-7 Autosport and ADU-7 Rev2 without rewiring?
No — they use different connectors (37-pin Autosport vs 35-pin AMPSEAL). Swapping requires re-terminating the harness connector.
