Deray V25 1/2″ is a flexible, thin-wall elastomeric heat shrink tubing with a 12.7 mm supplied inner diameter that recovers to 6.4 mm. It is a direct alternative to Raychem DR-25 1/2″, built to the same MIL-DTL-23053/16 elastomeric performance class, so it carries over the same fuel resistance, flame retardancy and −75°C to +150°C rating that motorsport and aerospace looms are specified around. At 12.7 mm supplied diameter it covers the main trunk runs of ECU harnesses and larger sensor looms.

Typical Use — 1/2″ (12.7 mm)
At 12.7 mm supplied diameter, this size covers:
- 15–25 wire harness trunks (22 AWG bundle OD ~9–12 mm)
- ECU harness main runs from the ECU connector to the firewall
- Sensor harness trunks where multiple sub-branches merge
- Outer jacketing over large multi-pin connector pigtail bundles
For smaller 1–3 wire branches and sensor leads, use Deray V25 3/16 (DR-25) 4.8/2.4 mm. For 25–50 wire main loom sections, use Deray V25 3/4 (DR-25) 19/9.5 mm.
Deray V25 vs Raychem DR-25
Deray V25 is specified to the same MIL-DTL-23053/16 elastomeric class as Raychem DR-25 and is dimensionally interchangeable — the same supplied and recovered diameters, the same 2:1 shrink ratio, and the same −75°C to +150°C operating range. It installs identically and is suitable where a DR-25 alternative is acceptable. For the original part, see Raychem DR-25 1/2″ (12.7/6.4 mm).
Application
Slide the tubing over the harness bundle before terminating connectors, then recover with a heat gun at 150°C or above, working from the centre outward to drive air ahead of the shrink front. Once recovered it forms a tough, abrasion- and cut-resistant jacket that protects against mechanical, thermal and chemical damage in engine-bay and chassis routing.
