Deray V25 3/16″ is a flexible, thin-wall elastomeric heat shrink tubing with a 4.8 mm supplied inner diameter that recovers to 2.4 mm. It is a direct alternative to Raychem DR-25 3/16″, built to the same MIL-DTL-23053/16 elastomeric performance class, so it carries over the same fuel resistance, flame retardancy and −75°C to +150°C rating that motorsport and aerospace looms are specified around. At 4.8 mm supplied diameter it is the size for individual sensor leads and small wire branches.

Typical Use — 3/16″ (4.8 mm)
At 4.8 mm supplied diameter, this size covers:
- Individual sensor leads and signal wires
- 1–3 wire sub-branches breaking out of the main loom
- Single-wire jacketing to the connector backshell
- Small-diameter pigtails on temperature, pressure and position sensors
For 15–25 wire harness trunks, use Deray V25 1/2 (DR-25) 12.7/6.4 mm. For 25–50 wire main loom sections, use Deray V25 3/4 (DR-25) 19/9.5 mm.
Deray V25 vs Raychem DR-25
Deray V25 is specified to the same MIL-DTL-23053/16 elastomeric class as Raychem DR-25 and is dimensionally interchangeable — the same supplied and recovered diameters, the same 2:1 shrink ratio, and the same −75°C to +150°C operating range. Application
Slide the tubing over the lead before terminating the connector, then recover with a heat gun at 150°C or above, working from the centre outward to drive air ahead of the shrink front. Once recovered it forms a tough, abrasion- and cut-resistant jacket that protects against mechanical, thermal and chemical damage in engine-bay and chassis routing.
