HellermannTyton V9500 is a two-component epoxy adhesive used in motorsport wiring harness construction to produce a sealed bond between moulded heat shrink boots, connectors, and backshells. V9500DUOPAK is the 50ml dual cartridge — the refill for the V9500 Applicator Gun.
Temporarily on restricted supply (≈2–3 months). Need epoxy now? ResinTech RT125 is the direct in-stock equivalent — same 1:1 ratio, same −75 °C to +150 °C range, same 2-hour cure at +85 °C, and it loads into the same V9500 applicator gun and nozzles.
V9500 meets military requirements for heat shrinkable harness components (VG 95343 T15 A) and operates across -75°C to +150°C — the full range required for engine bay and exhaust-adjacent installations.

When V9500 is Required
HellermannTyton moulded boots are not adhesive-lined as standard. V9500 is required to produce a sealed system:
| Boot type | V9500 requirement |
|---|---|
| T-shape (301A series) | Mandatory — no mechanical retention without epoxy |
| Y-shape (462A series) | Mandatory |
| 90° lipped boots (1181-4-G, 1182-4-G) | Strongly recommended for IP67 |
| Straight lipped boots (1030-4-G, 1037-4-G) | Strongly recommended for IP67 |
See the full Heat Shrink Boots range for boot-to-connector compatibility.
Dispensing
For repeated use across multiple connectors, use the cartridge with the V9500 Applicator Gun and V9500 Applicator Nozzle. The gun delivers metered 1:1 mixed epoxy directly into the boot entry port — no manual measuring, no ratio errors. Capped cartridges remain re-usable between sessions.
For a single connector repair, manual application from a standard mixing tray is also possible.
