When V9500 Epoxy is Required
HellermannTyton moulded heat shrink boots are not adhesive-lined as standard. V9500 epoxy is required to produce a fully sealed, pull-resistant bond between the boot and the connector backshell:
- T-shape (301A series) and Y-shape (462A series) boots: V9500 is mandatory — no mechanical retention without it
- Straight and 90° boots: strongly recommended for IP67 sealing in harsh environments
