The EVOLink (EVO9X) is Link Engine Management’s G4X plug-in ECU for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX and the Evo VIII variant with the 3-connector ECU header. MIVEC variable intake cam timing is natively supported. Onboard MAP sensor (4-bar or 7-bar depending on board revision) is included. The PCB fits inside the factory ECU enclosure with no loom modifications.
Fitment note: The Evo VIII came with both 4-plug and 3-plug ECU configurations. The EVO9X is for 3-plug Evo VIII models and all Evo IX. For 4-plug Evo IV–VIII, use the EVOLink EVO8X (SKU 203-4000).

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I confirm my Evo VIII needs the EVO9X and not the EVO8X?
Count the connector plugs on the factory ECU: 3 plugs = EVO9X (this product); 4 plugs = EVO8X.
Does it support MIVEC on the Evo IX?
Yes. MIVEC variable intake cam timing is natively supported on the Evo IX 4G63 engine.
Is a base map included?
Yes. A startup base map for the 4G63 is pre-loaded. Professional dyno tuning is required before use.
