The MoTeC M142 GR Yaris kit is a plug-and-play M1 ECU package for the Gen-1 Toyota GR Yaris (GXPA16, G16E-GTS 1.6-litre turbo 3-cylinder). It replaces the factory ECU through an adaptor box and gateway loom — no harness rewiring — and runs the dedicated MoTeC “Toyota Yaris GR 2020 G16E (M142)” vehicle-specific package, which already maps the factory loom and CAN gateway.
The kit gives full programmable control of fuel, ignition, drive-by-wire throttle and camshafts while retaining factory-style selectable drive modes (Normal / Sport / Track) on the OE controls.
