Typical Use — 1/8″ (3.2 mm)
At 3.2 mm supplied diameter, this size slides over 22–26 AWG individual wires (OD 0.86–1.14 mm) with clearance and recovers to grip firmly. Typical applications:
- Individual wire splice and joint insulation (22–26 AWG)
- Termination protection at connector pin entries
- Small connector backshell exits (1–3 wires)
- Identification band base layer on individual wires
For 2–4 wire bundles or single wires 14–18 AWG (OD 1.57–2.24 mm), use DR-25 3/16″ (4.8/2.4 mm).
Ordering Notes
Per metre: Ordering a quantity in metres gives one continuous cut length — not separate pieces. 5 m ordered = one 5 m length of DR-25 1/8″.
Full spool: 100 m factory spool, supplied wound.
Raychem System 25
DR-25 1/8″ is part of the Raychem System 25 harness system. Use alongside:

- Raychem System 25 moulded boots — connector backshell sealing (part numbers with “-25”, e.g. 204W221-25-0)
- HellermannTyton equivalent boots — same sealing function (“-G” suffix, e.g. 1030-4-G)
- V9500 epoxy — sealant for boot-to-loom transitions
