The Bosch Motorsport FP200-7 is the factory-designated replacement for the Bosch 044 (part number 0580.254.044) — the inline roller cell pump that became the motorsport and high-performance tuning industry standard for decades. The FP200-7 supersedes it with higher flow, updated construction, and a motorsport-specific specification. Flow exceeds 220 l/h at 5 bar / 13 V on gasoline (up to 270 l/h under optimal conditions), covering the fuel demand of high-output naturally aspirated and turbocharged engines at sustained full load.
The M18×1.5 inlet includes an integrated 300-µm suction-side pre-filter, not user-replaceable. The M12×1.5 outlet has a check valve (non-return valve) fitted as standard; see the check valve removal note below for the underlying thread. The internal overpressure valve opens at 8–10 bar, protecting the system against pressure spikes without a separate relief device.
Current draw of ≤17 A at 5 bar / 13 V / 22°C sets the minimum PDM channel or fuse rating — size at 20 A.
Fuel compatibility is rated for standard gasoline (up to E10) and diesel. E85 and E100 are compatible with reduced pump lifetime — factor a shorter service interval for sustained ethanol use.

Outlet Thread — Check Valve and M10×1.0 Thread
The FP200-7 pressure outlet has a check valve (non-return valve) fitted to the M12×1.5 external thread as standard. Removing the check valve exposes an M10×1.0 internal thread on the pump body itself.
This M10×1.0 thread is not documented in the Bosch Motorsport data sheet or offer drawing — it appears only in Bosch internal engineering drawings. It is relevant when:
- A custom adapter with M10×1.0 male thread is used to connect directly to the pump body
- The system design places a check valve elsewhere and a plain outlet fitting is preferred
- An adapter is machined to route the outlet in a different direction
The M12×1.5 outlet with check valve is the standard configuration for most builds. If the M10×1.0 thread is used, confirm your adapter thread engagement depth against the pump body dimension before installation.
