The Bosch PS-AS (SKU 0281002996) is a wide-range absolute air pressure sensor, measuring 11–300 kPa (0.11–3 bar). The range covers the full manifold pressure span from high vacuum at closed throttle on a naturally aspirated engine up to approximately 2 bar boost gauge on a turbocharged engine — making it usable across a wide variety of engine configurations without swapping sensors.
Ratiometric 5 V analog output (0.4–4.65 V full scale) connects directly to any ECU MAP input. A 96 mV offset at the lower end is normal and should be factored into ECU calibration. Bosch recommends an RC low-pass filter with τ = 2 ms on the ECU input to reduce electrical noise on the signal line. Mount within ±60° of vertical to prevent condensate from collecting in the pressure port.
The PS-AS measures pressure only. If simultaneous intake air temperature is required from the same fitting, use the PST-3 combined sensor (SKU 0261230280) or the PST-4 (SKU 0261230423) for high-boost applications.
