The MiniLink (MINIX) is Link Engine Management’s G4X plug-in ECU for the BMW MINI R50/R52/R53 Cooper S with the 1.6L Tritec supercharged (Eaton M45) engine. The ECU comes in its own case that fits directly in the factory ECU location with no loom modifications. Internal ignition drivers are built in — coils wire directly to the ECU, matching the factory wiring.
No onboard MAP sensor is fitted. The factory post-supercharger MAP sensor is supported via An Volt 1, but an external 4-bar MAP sensor via the XS Expansion Loom is strongly recommended for accurate boost management on modified builds. The MiniLink reads all four wheel speeds, steering wheel position, and steering rate via the factory CAN bus.

Does the MiniLink include an onboard MAP sensor?

Is a base map included?
Yes. A startup base map for the Tritec supercharged engine is pre-loaded. Professional dyno tuning is required before use.
