The Bosch Motorsport PST-F-2 measures both fuel rail pressure (0–280 bar absolute) and fuel temperature (−40 to +140 °C) from a single M10×1 sensor, replacing two separate sensor ports on a GDI fuel rail with one fitting. It is the high-pressure counterpart to the PST-1/3/4 air and oil sensors — same output principle, different pressure range and medium.
GDI fuel rail pressure on a motorsport engine operates between 50 and 200+ bar depending on engine speed and load strategy. The PST-F-2’s 280 bar upper range covers the full operating window with headroom for transient over-pressure events. The ratiometric output characteristic (0.5 V = 0 bar, 4.5 V = 280 bar; sensitivity 14.3 mV/bar) connects directly to any ECU analog input calibrated for this curve.
The temperature output is NTC-type — a 4.6 kΩ pull-up resistor between the temperature pin and the 5 V supply is required for correct reading. The 0.2 V and 4.8 V thresholds serve as out-of-range diagnostic check limits in ECU calibration.
A mating 4-pin connector kit is stocked separately.
