The WRXLink V10 04-06 (WRX104X) is Link Engine Management’s G4X plug-in ECU for the Subaru Impreza WRX and STI V10 (GD/GG chassis) with the EJ257 2.5L engine, factory e-throttle (DBW), and AVCS. The PCB fits inside the factory ECU enclosure.
Critical fitment check — WRX104X vs WRX107X: The V10 WRX came with two different ECU configurations on the same chassis. Identify which variant your car has by checking ECU header pins A1, A2, and A3:
– Pins A1–A3 have wires = WRX104X (this product) — mainly MY2004–2006
– Pins A1–A3 are empty = WRX107X (SKU 225-4000, listed separately) — mainly MY2006–2007
Not compatible with: GR/GH/GE/GV hatchback (3rd gen WRX) — these require a different product.

How do I know if I need the WRX104X or WRX107X?
Check ECU header pins A1, A2, A3: if those 3 pins have wires connecting to them, you need the WRX104X (this product). If those pins are empty, you need the WRX107X. This is the most reliable method — production years alone are not sufficient as some 2006 models use either ECU.
Is a base map included?
Yes. A startup base map for the EJ257 is pre-loaded. Professional dyno tuning is required before use.
