The CANJST cable adds CAN communications to Link G4+ and G4X plug-in ECUs that have a 5-pin CAN connector on the PCB. It plugs directly into the CAN socket on the ECU board, with 12 V and ground supplied via a flying lead from the vehicle harness. The DTM4 male output is compatible with other Link CAN accessories including the CAN Extension Cable (CANEXT) and CAN Splitter Cable (CANTEE).
Plug-in ECUs NOT compatible with this cable — these have a 4-pin powered CAN connector and require the CANJST4 cable instead:
