The JZX100Link (JZX100X) is Link Engine Management’s G4X plug-in ECU for the Toyota JZX100 chassis — Mark II, Chaser, and Cresta — with the 1JZ-GTE VVTi engine. VVTi single cam control is natively supported. An onboard MAP sensor (4-bar or 7-bar depending on board revision) is fitted. The PCB replaces the factory board inside the OEM ECU enclosure with no loom modifications.

The ECU includes an expansion connector to support an upgrade to Direct Spark ignition (COP), and a dedicated E-throttle expansion connector with Aux 9/10 and additional analogue inputs for drive-by-wire conversion. The JZX100Link has two CAN buses.

Note on MAP routing: a jumper pin adjustment is required to route the MAP signal via the MAF plug (An Volt 6). No alteration to the factory loom is required beyond this.

Does the JZX100Link support VVTi?

Yes. VVTi single intake cam control is natively supported. The factory cam position sensor is used by the Link ECU directly.

Can the ECU be used for a COP (direct spark) ignition conversion?

Yes. A dedicated expansion connector on the JZX100Link PCB provides the additional ignition output channels required for a coil-on-plug conversion.

Is a base map included?

Yes. A startup base map for the 1JZ-GTE VVTi is pre-loaded. Professional dyno tuning is required before use.
